Biography
What does the combination of twisted minds, intricate concepts and raw lyricism
create? Pure genius, many would say. Such is the case with Critical Madness; the
combination of cRITICAL and MaDneSs. With both emcees hailing from Central Florida,
it was only a matter of time before they crossed paths within the Orlando battle
circuit. Since then, they have developed an unmatched resume winning numerous
battles within the Ozone, wrecked shop around every major city in FL, and taken
emcee battles on a nationwide level. This was only the beginning though.
After gaining an enormous amount of respect for one another, the two began recording
professionally together, bringing a sickness to the table that was unparalleled.
Their first collaborative effort, "Allow Me To Demonstrate," was the EP that would
spark the beginning of their plague. With its success, they followed it up with the
equally disgusting "Chemically Dependent" mixtape boasting over thirty exclusive
tracks including collaborative songs, solo efforts, and a wide range of freestyles.
Coming from solo backgrounds, both emcees brought an enormous amount of hunger to
the table in emcee battles as well as with each release alike. This hunger provoked
cRITICAL to release his now underground classicK solo debut "The Rubber Room Diary
By Dr. Comfort" which was met with "critical" acclaim (All puns intended).
And with the focus now on CM, they decided to connect with up and coming producer
TEMPERMENTAL of Deadbeat Recordings to begin work on their more than anticipated
debut.
The duo continues to amaze the masses having released their debut 12" Single "1st
Amendment" featuring Sabac Red of Non Phixion which is AVAILABLE NOW. This was
definitely the proper start to a campaign for the Critical Madness debut album
"Bringing Out The Dead" coming in 2006.
